Programme Info

The tremendous advancement in healthcare and technology has resulted in medical institutions becoming increasingly reliant on technologically sophisticated medical equipment in order to provide optimal patient care. This has necessitated regular maintenance, upgrading, and troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime and longer lifespan of these equipment. Our Diploma in Biomedical Technology (DBT) will serve as a platform to produce trained graduates who can fulfil demands of the biomedical technology job market.

Our Vision Diagnostic Centre is equipped with a wide array of imaging modalities including X-Ray and Ultrasound systems, providing our students with the necessary practical experience to cope with the demands of this challenging yet extremely rewarding career. The programme is approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), thus enabling graduates to secure a rewarding career or to further their studies at any institution of higher learning.

Entry Requirement

Pass SPM/SPMV or equivalent with

  • Science Stream

Credit in at least 3 subjects and a pass in 2 science subjects

(Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science/Health Science)

or

  • Non-Science Stream

Credit in at least 3 subjects including 1 science subject

(General Science/Applied Science/Health Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics)
