Programme Info

Medical imaging is the technique of obtaining human anatomy imagery with high precision for diagnosis, treatment and research purposes. Originally derived from X-rays, the field of medical imaging has evolved tremendously to embrace more cutting-edge technologies such as Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

The Diploma in Medical Imaging is a 3-years programme, carefully designed to equip our graduates with the necessary masteries and core competencies to succeed as a radiographer in the healthcare industry. In addition to grasping key theoretical concepts, students will be exposed to a variety of real life case studies at our very own Vision Diagnostic Clinic as well as a year of clinical experience at a private or government hospital.

Entry Requirement
  • SPM/ O-Levels or equivalent – Pass in SPM or equivalent with at least 5 credits in Mathematics, 1 science subject(Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science/Health Science) and 3 other subject, with a pass in English; or
  • Qualification relevant to Health Science with at least a minimum CGPA 2.75.
  • GSE / O-level or equivalent with a grade 5C in Mathematics, 1 science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science/Health Science) and 3 other subjects, with a pass in English; or
  • Pass matriculation in Science field with a CGPA of at least 2.00; or
  • Australian Year 12 and matriculation with an average of 16 marks from 3 subjects including at least one Science subject.
