This updated course
offers practitioners and sonographers an exciting and rewarding
knowledge in the advancing field of medical diagnostic ultrasound.
This course covers the anatomy, pathology and sonography techniques
used in investigations of the abdomen and the pelvis.
Optimization
techniques on Sonographic equipment in the production of images will
also be shown. Hands on will include abdomen and pelvis.
This course has been upgraded for CME point's collection under MMA /
UPM (3 CME points per day)

17-18 Nov 2007 - 4D Ultrasonography: Obstetrics and Gynaecology
This is our second 4D Ultrasonography programme for the year. After our highly successful first 4D Ultrasonography, many doctors from around the region has contacted us on this seminar. This time, our focus will be on the new technologies of 3D and 4D ultrasonography. This includes the use of 3D Extended Imaging technology where the ultrasound technology is used with CT Scan and MRI-like applications.
Our teachers are highly experienced in the innovative use of clinical 3D/4D applications. Image optimization techniques on 4D surface rendering will also be taught.

12-13 May 2007 - 4D Ultrasonography: Obstetrics and Gynaecology
The objective is to
educate the participants and familarise them with the art and science
of 3D ultrasound. This programme stresses on the practicalities of 3-D
ultrasound, where the participants can try on their own, during the
many hours of "hands-on" sessions.
It promises a packed 2-day course,
bringing the participant from the basics of 3-D ultrasound to the
intricacies of 4-D technology with practical applications in obstetrics
and gynaecology.

25 April 2007 – Parkway Group Healthcare, Singapore visits Vision College
On 25 April 2007, three astute representatives from Parkway Group Healthcare visited Vision College. Parkway has a wide group of hospitals under their management in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. In Malaysia, Parkway controls the Pantai Hospital Group where their hospitals are located throughout Malaysia.
They have come to know more on how we teach Sonography and also recruit our graduates. Especially with the increasing need to specialize in healthcare, many new professions are created with great prospects for career development. Sonographers are well sought after across the region with several of our graduates working in Singapore. |

Vision College is working with the Sonography industry to provide short ultrasound courses to medical doctors that are interested in Sonography. Our short courses are held in small groups, usually less than ten doctors, around Malaysia. The short courses are focused on abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics and small parts.
