MoA Signing Between Ministry Health Malaysia and Vision College (update:July 2010)
Vision College signed on 24 June 2010, a Memorandum of Arrangement with the Ministry of Health, Malaysia to have access for our Radiography and Ultrasonography students to gain hospital attachment at Ministry of Health Hospitals.
Vision students are fortunate as the Ministry of Health has provided clinical places at renowned and famous hospitals – Hospital Kuala Lumpur (busiest hospital in Malaysia), Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang (3 rd busiest hospital in Malaysia) and Hospital Putrajaya. Our students can look forward to quality clinical teaching.

Special visitors from Australia ( update: May 2010)
Dr. Sue Campbell Westerway, the visiting lecturer from Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine who gained more than 35 year’s ultrasound scanning experience has spent a week here in Vision College to share her vast experience with our Pg. DMU (Asia) students.
“There are always an acute shortage for sonographers, the demand of sonographers is always higher than the sonographers that we can produce.” says Dr. Sue Campbell. Dr. Sue also thinks that Vision College provides the perfect platform for the student who has the aspiration to be a qualified sonographer.

Programmes
Vision College is an institution in Asia that provides internationally recognized programmes with the highest standard in medical technology. The programmes offered are the Postgraduate Diploma of Medical Ultrasonography (Asia) - DMU (Asia), the Diploma of Health Science (DHS) and the Diploma of Health Science (Health Administration) (DHA). Vision College is the only college of Ultrasonography in Malaysia establishing a unique and innovative partnership programme with renowned international organization such as ASUM (Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine)
The DMU (Asia), is a leading qualification to train Sonographers in Malaysia and the qualification is recognized in Malaysia, Australia and internationally. The ultrasonography program is an intensive 12 month career course of study providing both educational and clinical experience. The integrated externship includes a thorough familiarization with routine diagnostic exams in specific areas such as: obstetrics, gynecology, abdomen, cardiovascular thorax, pediatrics and small parts imaging.
Our DHS programme is aimed at providing SPM and Pre-U leavers for a direct entry into highly skilled allied health professions. Our graduates can progress towards Bachelor programmes in several renowned universities. They can also build careers the medical workforce as a medical assistant in medical laboratories, hospitals, cliaanics, doctors’ offices, or imaging department.
Our DHA programme is the first programme of its kind in Malaysia. It was created with the combination of science and business. Our graduates can progress towards Bachelor programmes in several renowned universities. They can also build careers the medical workforce as a administrative assistant in medical laboratories, hospitals, clinics, doctors’ offices, or imaging department.
The DMI programme is created with the objective of providing well-rounded education in medical imaging. The programme covers both Radiography and Sonography in their 3 years of study. Graduates from the programme can gain entry into renowned hospitals as a Radiographer cum Sonographer. They can even opt to continue their studies overseas in the medical imaging field, specializing in either Radiography or Sonography. Graduates can continue their studies too in Vision College with the one year Postgraduate Diploma in Medical UltraSonography (Asia) programme.
